Spent three and a half years as an equities analyst at top-ranked UK broker W.I. Carr covering various sectors and stocks. Joined UBS Securities as Associate Research Director in 1993 and later moved on to Kleinwort Benson as Managing Director / Head of Research in 1994 to establish and head up Kleinwort benson's research operations in Malaysia. Achieved a top 5 ranking for regional sectoral research according to Reuters' poll of fund managers in 1997. Head of Research at Kenanga since 1997.

2005 road show on financial planning for family & personal tax assesment, 30/04/05 - 16/07/05

MFPC is organizing the Road Show on ¡®Financial Planning for Family and Personal Tax Assessment¡± in collaboration with the ¡°Lifelong Learning ¨C Living Skills Pillar¡± in six major cities in Malaysia, namely Petaling Jaya, Kuantan, Ipoh, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur.

The Road Show is being organized in view of the lack of information on financial related issue available to the public at large. In line with the objective of MFPC, the objective of the program is to create awareness to the public on the importance of financial planning, maintaining proper accounting recording and self-assessment on taxation. Information counters will be set-up by various financial services provider including the LHDN counter for the public to browse through the various services offered to them.

The programme of the Road Show ill include a half-day seminar comprising of three talks on topics such as Financial Planning, Accounting and Self-Assessment on Income Tax.
