Aligned with the initiative of Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia to create awareness on the importance of retirement planning among the youth in Malaysia, MFPC is delighted to join-force with SC, under the CMDF Grant, in providing a series of retirement planning e-workshops beginning 2023 till 2025. 

Briefly, MFPC is an independent professional body set up in 2004 with the objective of promoting nationwide development and enhancement of the financial planning profession in Malaysia. CMDF Grant is a joint action plan (JAP) spearheaded by SC aims to elevate the financial planning industry in Malaysia. One of the significant projects is to equip the youth with the fundamentals knowledge and skills relating to retirement planning. 

The key objectives of the workshop are: 

• To cultivate a positive mindset among the youth on the importance of retirement planning
• To equip the youth with fundamental knowledge and skills of retirement planning
• To guide the youth in understanding own financial status and exploring right approaches
• To build a platform for the youth to express and exchange views on retirement planning
• To serve as a career exposure for the youth in venturing into financial services industry
• To network the youth with industry practitioners in gaining latest updates and development
